Copy the video file to the Memory Stick Duo™ media
Copying a file manually
Copy the video file to Memory Stick Duo™ media to enable it to be played on the PSP™ system. Using a PC, create a folder named "VIDEO" within the Memory Stick Duo™ media, and then copy the file into that folder.

Hints
- You can play video files with the ".MP4" extension. For details, see "Files that can be played".
- You can create folders within the VIDEO folder (Figure 1).
- Folders created within subfolders are not recognized (Figure 2).
- When copying files from the PS3™ system to the Memory Stick Duo™ media, necessary folders are created automatically.
- Take care not to infringe the intellectual property of others.
- A Memory Stick Duo Adaptor (model number MSAC-M2: a Sony product sold separately) is required if your device can handle only a standard-size Memory Stick™.
Copying a file using compatible software
When using PC software such as "Image Converter 2 Plus" (a Sony product, sold separately), the required folder is automatically created when a file is copied to Memory Stick Duo™ media.
Hint
Additionally, video files can be downloaded from a Web site or video can be transferred from an HDD recorder. For details, contact the service provider or retailer.
